Flower Shiitake Mushroom
Flower Shiitake is well known in Asia as the treasure of mountain, like shiitake, they range in color from brown to dark brown and have broad, umbrella shaped caps with wide open veils and tan gills. There are uneven cracks on the cap of this mushroom which make it look like a blooming flavor.
This Shiitake is thicker and meatier than a regular Shiitake, it’s strong smoky taste makes it popular among Asian Cuisine but can by used with a variety of cooking techniques.
